This graceful Plaisir figurine - one of Sibania’s earliest sculptural models from the Historical Collection - depicts a young girl kneeling in a delicate lace ballerina tutu, curled hair cut in a short bob. She rests her hands gently on her legs, watching others with a playful, engaged expression that captures a moment of innocent curiosity. Crafted in Capodimonte porcelain, the figure showcases Sibania’s artisanal layering technique: fine porcelain sheets are textured, precisely cut, and applied by hand, then painted with gentle refinement. While presented solo, Plaisir shares the contemplative ballet aesthetic of other mini‑ballet figures like Nuage, Orthencine, and Claudine.
